Overview

SpeedGrader allows you to quickly access and efficiently grade student work (assignments, discussions, & quizzes) and even grade by course section (if there are multiple course sections combined into one course). Anything graded in SpeedGrader is automatically recorded in the gradebook. From within the gradebook, instructors can instantly jump into the SpeedGrader for a specific assignment. There are two ways to access SpeedGrader, directly from the assignment or through the gradebook.

How do I view past versions of submissions in SpeedGrader?

DocViewer

DocViewer is a tool in SpeedGrader that allows teacher (and peer reviewers) to comment directly on students online assignment submissions in Canvas. [This is similar to what you can do in Microsoft Office.]

What types of files does DocViewer support?

Crocodoc supports .doc/.docx, .ppt/.pptx, .xls/.xlsx, and .pdf file formats. DocViewer does NOT support text box submissions or other file types.
